Nelson Emmons, of Essex, Massachusetts, submitted this photograph of his 1971 BMW R75/5. The bike is a "barn find" European-delivery R75/5 with less than 5K km on the clock. Nelson bought the Beemer in Frankfurt Germany at Frafag Motors, as a future restoration project.
Nelson's photo submission to The Motor Bookstore's Photo Contest is featured with the BMW 2-Valve Twins 1970-1996 Repair Manual by Haynes.
