Dennis Hellebusch of Washington, Missouri, submitted a few shots of his badass 1963 Chevy Corvette—aka a Split Window Vette—which he tells us, he's driven on the street for the past 18 years.
All of us here at The Motor Bookstore, are pro-safety as much as the next person, so we think the wheelie bar and chute are a nice safety feature for a grocery getter, especially one that sports a blower!
All kidding aside, we love the car and used one of the photos to dress up the 1963-1982 Chevrolet Corvette Repair Manual page, another photo for Corvette Odyssey, a great read by the way, and a third photo (for good measure) with the Chevrolet Corvette 1963-1967 book.
