2012 Ford Ranger

As you may know already, Ford introduced the all-new 2012 Ranger at this year’s Australian Motor Show in Sydney, but what you didn’t know is that the manufacturer plans to expend the platform used by the vehicle, from pickup-only at launch to an SUV variant.

For those who don’t know, the new Ford Ranger was developed in collaboration with Mazda (the Mazda BT50 is actually a redesigned Ford Ranger), which means that the Japanese manufacturer could also consider a new SUV based on the BT50.
