SSC Ultimate Aero








With a speed clocked at 256 mph (412 km/h), the SSC Ultimate Aero was hailed the fastest production car in the world. The speed attained was recorded back in 13 September 2007 in West Richland, Washington, United States and confirmed by the Guinness World Records barely a month later. The SSC’s body is entirely carbonfibre, features a flat undertray with twin venturi tunnels and weighs just under 60kg. Suspension is conventional double wishbones, while the rear features an upper rocker arm with lower wishbone and an anti-roll bar. With a V8 turbocharged engine with 1094 pound-feet of torque producing 1183 horsepower at 6950 rpm.
