Photo Contest: 1930 Ford Roadster

Sandy Scott, of Seminole, Florida, sent photos of his beautiful 1930 Ford Roadster. The car underwent a complete frame-off restoration, down to the badged Ford battery.

Sandy wrote... "Interestingly, the color of the wheels was a factory option for only 3 months, so it is a rather rare color combination. The car won a prize at the National Model A Restorer's meet scoring 95 out of a 100 points when the judge mistakenly thought the leather hood guards were not a stock item. They were. Otherwise, the car should have garnered a perfect score. Some have said that it is the best example of the year/model in the country.

We agree!

Sandy's 1930 Ford Roadster photo submission is featured with the Car Collecting - Everything You Need to Know manual in the Restoration Books section of The Motor Bookstore.
