Charles Griffith purchased the 1969 AMC Javelin shown here as a project car for his son.
But the car's 390 cubic-inch V8 was blown, so they disassembled it, re-honed the cylinders, installed a rebuilt Holley carb, new clutch, and other goodies.
Next projects for the Javelin include refreshing the wiring harness and fresh paint.
The 1969 AMC Javelin was selected for the American Motors (AMC) Car Repair & Service Manuals section of The Motor Bookstore's website.
